Autodesk Fusion

Fusion combines mechanical design, manufacturing toolpaths, simulation and electronics in one cloud-connected application, which is unusual: the traditional alternative is three separate products and a translation step between each.

For product design and small-batch manufacturing teams that integration is the point — a design change propagates to the CAM toolpath without re-importing geometry. Larger organisations with established CATIA or NX pipelines usually adopt Fusion alongside rather than instead.
